SUMMERDOWN

Over more than a decade, Summerdown Mint has reintroduced traditional Black Mitcham peppermint to this country, relearning lost farming skills and combining them with the latest technology at our farm in the foothills of the Hampshire downs. During the harvest, the mint leaves are taken to our purpose-built distillery. The result is a rare single estate peppermint oil, which has a cooler, more intense flavour and scent than other varieties. We use it to produce our award winning chocolates and teas. Bright, fresh and aromatic, it is a very different taste from the harsher, blended, imported peppermint of the past 60 years.
